2012 Besondere Partnerschaft Ihr Engagement hat Lina Eisenberg spannende Perspektiven eröffnet. 2015 begleitete ihr Schulchor den thüringischen Ministerpräsidenten zu einer Feier anlässlich des 50-jährigen Bestehens der diplomatischen Beziehungen mit Israel. Und 2019, während ihres Austauschjahres an der Hebrew University of Jerusalem, konnte die Medizinstudentin nicht nur wertvolle wissenschaftliche Erfahrungen sammeln, sondern auch Kontakte knüpfen, die bis heute bestehen. »Ich hoffe, dass es mir gelingt, das Deutschlandbild, das viele Israelis verständlicherweise haben, zu relativieren«, sagt Lina Eisenberg. Und sie ergänzt: »Das Stipendium hat mir dafür wichtige Denkanstöße gegeben und meinen Lebensweg entscheidend mitgeprägt.« results responsibility. ‘Our countries are closely interwoven with each other and will depend on each other also in the future. Lina Eisenberg Die Stipendiatin The scholarship holder Lina Eisenberg, Jahrgang 1997, wuchs in Weimar (Thüringen) auf. Derzeit studiert sie Medizin in Leipzig und an der Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dort absolviert sie einen kombinierten MD-PhD-Studiengang in Neurowissenschaften. Die Promotion eröffnet der jungen Wissenschaftlerin beruf liche Karrieremöglichkeiten sowohl im klinischen Bereich als auch in der Forschung und Lehre. Sie lernte Hebräisch ‒ und Israel ist, auch der Liebe wegen, ihre zweite Heimat geworden. 2012 nahm sie als Gastgeberin an dem Programm teil. Lina Eisenberg, born 1997, grew up in Weimar (Thuringia). Currently she is studying medicine both in Leipzig and at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. At the latter place she attends a combined MD-PhD course in neuro-sciences. The PhD provides this young scientist with professional career prospects both in the clinical field and in research and teaching. She is learning Hebrew – and Israel has become her second home, to which also love contributed. In 2012 she participated in the Programme as a host. 40
